About the Role:
The Test Analyst will form part of our Change Team, working alongside the Business Analysts and be very much part of the full development cycle. You’ll be responsible for testing changes and new features to the Digital platforms, CRM and micro systems and the preparation and co-ordination of test scripts and scenarios. You’ll work closely with a variety of people from all different levels of the business from Developers, to Marketers, and sales agents to Directors so you’ll need great communication skills in order to translate into both technical and non-technical language.
We have an extensive and wide range of projects happening at Make it Cheaper and you’ll have the opportunity to move between different systems, projects and development teams. You’ll manage the testing aspect of internal project delivery from design, implementation to release, whilst raising any defects that are not in line with feature specification. You’ll also support the BA in the design phase by using your knowledge to help refine requirements and solutions to achieve a high quality product, whilst staying customer focused.

Duties and Responsibilities:
To test from a technical, customer experience and usability perspective.
Attend and participate in project and planning meetings with team and business stakeholders.
Prepare test cases, scripts and scenarios for all projects and features to minimise risk and reduce refinement time.
Work closely with the BA to help refine and shape requirements/solutions.
Ensure all delivered features meet and adhere to original specification, customer and company requirements.
Seek to find not only the problem but also root cause and therefore its solution.
Liaise with the relevant Stakeholders and BAs to fully understand the functionality to be tested.
Raise and manage bugs delivered pre and post-delivery and support their resolution.
Support any other areas where your skill set and knowledge may be required.
Always looking at ways to help evolve and support the team to improve quality and velocity, whilst maintain day to day activities.
Lead in regression testing.
Provide accurate estimates for all work as required.
Prioritise work in order to meet deadlines and not impact project delivery.
Experience and knowledge required:
Familiar with Agile development methodologies and supported tooling (Jira, Trello, Wrike).
Be able to test from the perspective of technical, Customer experience and usability.
Experience in testing Digital sites and or CRM systems preferable.
Excellent attention to detail and problem solving.
Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks.
Experience with SQL would be beneficial but not necessary.
